Laura and Tony’s Bluegrass Wedding | Part 2

It was Friday night, the evening before the wedding and I found myself in an amazing jam session. I was pickin’ (dobro) with some of the best young bluegrass musicians on the national circuit when all of a sudden, the lovely bride showed up; Laura had been working on decorations all day and into the evening when she finally decided to roam the campgrounds. As she arrived to our jam, someone quickly handed her a fiddle and she unleashed a fury of smokin fiddle licks that took everyone’s energy to the next level and beyond. After a few songs Laura said ‘I’ve got to get some sleep before I get married’, and I realized it was time to be a responsible photographer and go to sleep too…but of course I ended up pickin’ just a few more songs, until 1:30am that night…the jams were too hot! Fast forward to the reception…both Laura and Tony sat in with their wedding band, the amazing Caleb Klauder Country Band…a real treat for everyone at the wedding! Everyone was two-steppin’ and waltzing and shaking fast to the sounds of this wonderful band. It was such a joy and a treat to photograph Laura and Tony’s wedding, one I’ll never forget!
